WINONA Minn. – So far this year 39 students have graduated from the Winona Area Learning Center, including 12 in thelkatest ceremony. The student speaker, Jolissa Nelton, recalled the nerves she felt her first day. “Those nerves were soon replaced by a sense of belonging,” she said. “Thank you to my teachers for bringing back my spark of enjoying my education again.” Receiving Papenfuss scholarships to Minnesota State College Southeast were Dante Jones, Mijuanna Mapp, Zach Caldwell and Tia Pope.
