ST. PAUL, Minn. – Industrial Education Committee of the Minnesota House unanimously passed a w$120 million bill for new broadband grants. The bill heads for the House Ways and Means Committee. Representative Gene Pelowski, D-Winona, said all signs are good for the bill. “This is the largest amount the House has ever passed forwards,” Pelowski said on hometown radio station KWNO. “For a bill that size, that is an achievement to have all of the members, Republican and Democrat, pass it.”
