NEW PRAGUE, Minn. — The wife and adult son of a Twin Cities man who disappeared in 2013 were arrested for his death. Connie Herbst, 62, and Austin Herbst, 26, were arrested near their New Prague home. A dog found the skull of Gary Herbst south of Barron, Wisconsin in December 2017, 120 miles away. The dog brought the skull home to its owner. Deputies found Herbst’s skeletal remains soon after, but they were not identified until this June.
