LE CENTRE, Minn. – A Belle Plaine duck hunter, Jeffrey Brooks, 59, was pulled from Clear Lake several yards from a capsized boat. He was airlifted 85 miles to a Rochester hospital, where he was pronounced dead. A second Belle Plaine hunter, Nicholas Brooke, 29, was, sitting atop the overturned boat. He was taken to the New Prague hospital for treatment.
