LACROSSE, Wis. — The LaCrosse County Board voted 18-12 to spend $157,000 to support a four-county bus service through 2016. The Scenic Mississippi Regional Transit system has 13 routes in La Crosse, Vernon, Monroe and Crawford counties. Fares are $5. Other jurisdictions also help finance the service.
