WINONA, Minn. — A rifle that a man was cleaning discharged, the bullet hitting a cinder block wall and injuring his younger brother. No injuries occurred except minor bruising, police said. The rifle was a .223, commonly used in hunting and for home protection. Police considered the shooting an accident. No charges were pursued. The accident was at a house in the 1250 block of Woodpark Road, in the blufftop Crestview neighborhood, about 10:30 p.m.
