INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – An attorney representing MyPillow chief executive Mike Lindell was fired by the white-glove law firm he worked for. The firm, Indianapolis-based Barnes & Thornburg, said the attorney had acted without the firm’s prior approval. Barnes & Thornburg said it was withdrawing the $1.6 billion retaliatory action against the Dominion voting machine company. Fired was Alec J. Beck, a Barnes & Thornburg partner, who had filed the Lindell suit in federal court in Minneapolis. Said the Indianapolis law firm: “No attorney from Barnes & Thornburg remains of record” in the litigation. Also, the firm said it has ended the client relationship with Lindell, whose problems with Dominion involve his claim that Dominion threw the 2020 election so that President Trump would lose. For months Barnes & Thornburg has been distancing itself from Trump and his supporters.

Beck. He and law firm Barnes & Thompson have parted company over Mike Lindell’s countersuit on conspiracy theories in 2020 election.
