WAUMANDEE, Wis. — An Englewood, Florida, man, Scott J. Ritter, was taken by helicopter to the Gundersen hospital in La Crosse for injuries after a deer ran into his motorcycle. Ritter was thrown from the motorcycle, deputies said. The accident happened on County Road E east of Waumandee about 8 p.m.
