ROCHESTER, Minn. – The Rochester public transit system waived its usual $2 fare for anyone needing a warm place during the current cold spell. Just tell the driver you’re too cold. The program is called “A Warm Place to Be.” Wind chills were forecast as low as 40 below zero. The system runs 87 buses on 23 routes.
