WASHINGTON – In the year since President Joe Biden signed the bipartisan Infrastructure Bill into law, the federal Transportation Department has funded $2.6 billion for Minnesota projects. This includes $25 million to upgrade Interstate 90 bridges in Austin. The agency’s list of thousands of projects included these airports:

> Austin (AUM municipal airport): $159,000.
> Black River Falls (BCK area airport): $139,000.
> Caledonia (CHU Houston County airport): $110,000.
> Independence (5W16 municipal airport): $159,000.
> LaCrosse (LSE regional airport): $1.3 million.
> Merrill (RRL municipal airport): $$159,000.
> Preston (FKA Fillmore County airport): $110,000.
> Red Wing (RGJ regional airport): $110,000.
> Rochester (RST international airport): $1.8 million.
> Rushford (55Y Robert W. Bunke municipal airport): $110,000.
> Sparta-Fort McCoy (CMY): $159,000.
> Winona (ONA Max Conrad Field): $159,000.
