WASHINGATON — The National Rifle Association not known for taking criticism lying down, fired back against a lawsuit that accuses it of hidden political campaign cintributions of $35 million to President Trump and Wisconsin Senator Ron Johnson and other Republicans senators who have opposed gun restrictions. The NRA called the lawsuit “another premeditated abuse of the public by our adversaries, who will stop at nothing in their pursuit of their anti-freedom agenda.” Johnson himself remained silent on the accusations for a second day.
