ROCHESTER, Minn. — Olmsted County prosecutor Michael Walters has asked a judge to reject an appeal from a police officer who is serving time for sexual misconduct with a teenager. The claim of judicial irregularities from Timothy Morgenstern is unwarranted, the prosecutor said. Morgenstern, now 26, is in prison for sexual relations and sexual videos and chats with a 16-year-old student in 2022. At the time Morgenstern was a Rochester police officer and a speech team coach at Marshall High School. The teenager was a Marshall speech student.
