ST. CHARLES, Minn., June 9, 2020 — Harold Edward Bartsh, 96, of St. Charles, formerly of Utica, died at a St. Charles nursing home. He was a gunner’s mate on the USS Pittsburg during the last push in the Pacific in World War II. After the war, he bought his first truck, which was the start of his lifelong career in the grain business.
