WINONA, Minn. — Marlene Ruth (Pflughoeft) Bender, 85, of Winona, who worked many years at Benson Optical, died at Lake Winona Manor nursing home. She also many part-time jobs over the years — Shorty’s, Kids Korner Pizza, JCP and as a bookkeeper for years. In later yearsshe worked at KOA campground, where she and her husband camped and eventually lived.
