LACROSSE, Wis.—Friends exceeded their $15,000 goal for funeral expenses for Anthony Fimple, who was shot fatally on his job early Saturday in a Third Street bar. Angela Subjek, who organized the fundraising at gofuneme.com, expressed appreciation for “all of the positivity about Anthony.” Frimple, 19, was remembered for heling neighbors with things around the house. He worked summers on the Mayor’s Crew for WisCorps. He regularly donated blood at the American Red Cross. Following a family tradition, he has enlisted in the Navy and was waiting to ship out for boot camp in August.
