LACROSE, Wis. – Wisconsin Republicans opened their annual convention state convention with a target on the national stage – Demcratic U.S. Senator Tammy Baldwin. Voters sent Baldwin to Washington in 2012 with a51% to 45% margin over former Governor Timmy Thompson. She was re-elected 55% to 44% over Leah Vukmir in 2018. Baldwin has declared for a third six-year term this November.
