WINONA, Minn. — A Winona woman, Amie Jo Dewitte, 30, was arrested after an apartment on the 150 block of East Fifth Street was burgled in the afternoon and two bottles of booze were stolen from a refrigerator. The apartment renter reported chasing Dewitte to a house several blocks away. To police Dewitte acknowledged being in the area of the incident but did not admit to the burglary. Even so, police recommended a charge of first-degree burglary. The arrest was about 3:15 p.m. Dewitte also was charged with violating a probation agreement by cutting off her ankle monitor
