WINONA, Minn. – Winona State University’s weekly campus COVID update listed 121 new positive cases and a total of 209 active cases Quarantined on-campus and off-campus were 228. In isolation: 166. Scott Olson, university president, said the numbers indicate that campus mitigation strategies are working. But, he noted, “We know that one week does not make a trend and we will continue to move ahead with caution.” The university’s two-week self-imposed campus quarantine, scheduled to run through September 21, remains in effect.
