MADISON, Wis. – A Rice Lake man, whose wife said she saw him on a phone sexually assaulting a child, pleaded guilty in federal court. Jonathon Tillman, 23, was sentenced immediately to 10 years prison by Judge James Peterson. The judge called Tillman a danger to children, noting details of the case and a history of child porn offenses. Based on the wife’s report, police had seized the phone but never found the specific video of him assaulting a child. Even so, there was child pornography that led to charges. Also, police said, they established that Tillman had been researching how to reset his phone to the original factory settings.
