LEWISTON, Minn. — A vulnerable adult in Lewiston was scammed out of $25,000, Winona County sheriff’s investigator Mark Dungy confirmed. Dungy declined to discuss details until the investigation is further along. He did say, however, that the money was transferred to a bank account. Evidence was documented and photographed at the victim’s place on Second Street South. The scam came to the attention of authorities about 5:30 p.m.
