WICHITA, Kan. – A missing Winona girl, age 16, has been located in Wichita, and two men have been accused of taking her without parental consent. Jacob D. Klinski, 39, of Winona, and Francisco Antonia Garcia, 19, of Hemet, California, were held on felony charges of interfering with custody of a child. According to court documents, he girl had last been seen November 5 in the LaCrosse suburb of Onalaska, and was entered into a missing person database. Her mother told police that her daughter was living with a relative and attending school in Winona the past year but had gone missing while visiting another relative a few miles away in Houston County. Two days later the mother told police that she located the girl’s cell phone at a hotel in Wichita. Police then found Klinski, Garcia and the girl at the hotel. Court documents said that Klinksi and Garcia knew that the girl was a runaway and that they were en route to San Antonio, Texas, to start a new life together.

The charges against Kliski and Garcia: Contributing to child misconduct And sheltering and concealing a runaway. They were held on $50,000 bond each.
