MINNEAPOLIS — The Minnesota Twins baseball club cancelled its annual Winter Caravan for the first time in 60 seasons, thanks to the coronavirus pandemic. Twins president Dave St. Peter said: “An off-season without our longstanding and beloved fan events is certainly tough to digest, but our top priority is, and always will be, the health and safety of Twins Territory. The Winter Caravan bussed coaches, players and executives around Minnesota, the Dakotas, Wisconsin and Iowa with fan events along the way.
