PERHAM, Minn. – A Perham, man, Brandon Snyder, was stabbed in both eyes and then shot 15 times in his house, police said. Snyder’s housemate, was arrested. As police pieced together what happened, the men had been arguing. They said Snyder plunged a folding knife two inches into Snyder’s left eye, and then stabbed his other eye, then shot him 15 times with a .22-caliber rifle, then shot him one more time with a 270-caliber rifle. Afterward, police said, Sweere turned on all the lights in the house, opened the blinds, tidied the kitchen, then called police to report a disturbance. Police said Sweere them it self-defense after Snyder had bit him in an argument. Police reported Sweer said he had been prescribed medication but had gone off it three months earlier.
