WILSON, Minn. – Betty Jean (Storts, Dornink) Burreson, of Wilson, who loved the outdoors and discovered a new species of prairie plants that was named after her, died. She was 87. She studied at Winona State University and published a document on prairie grasses and flowers. She worked to restore prairies around Winona.
