EAU CLAIRE, Wis. – The owner Manny’s Mexican places in Eau Claire and Onalaska, Filberto Rivera, had two sex charges dismissed. Judge Jon Theisen specified, however, that Rivera needs to be clean for 3-1/2 years – or else. Rivera also was ordered to undergo a sex offender assessment and not to serve alcohol after hours. Rivera accepted the terms. In separate Eau Claire incidents, twoemployees had accused Rivera of plying them with alcohol, touching them inappropriately, and making unwanted sexual advances during closing time when it was just the two of them around.
