EAU CLAIRE, Wis. — An Eau Claire man who was already a previously convicted sex offender was sentenced 25 years in prison with 15 years of extended supervision. In the latest case Christopher Seeley, 45, was charged with raping a woman who had been out with friends on Water Street and returned home and fell asleep. The woman said she awoke to being assaulted. Afterward she went to a hospital, where a DNA exam identified Seeley as the assailant. Seeley has been previously convicted sexual assault in 2005 and 1999.
