WINONA, Minn. – Students at the Winona high and middle schools will have an array of new courses beginning in the fall. The courses were developed after the Board asked for more multicultural perspectives and diversity. Students, parents and alumni were surveyed with an eye to marginalized populations.
Among new high school options

> Senior Writing.
> Photography as Art.
Among new middle school options
> Living off the Land.
> Humans vs. Disease.
> Haydn to Hip Hop.
