ROCHESTER, Minn. – Two Rochester men were arraigned in the beating and robbery of a man in his house Sunday night and who then was left on a snowbank. The victim told police that he was struck in the head with a hammer and punched. The man managed to call 911 and was taken to a hospital. Arraigned for robbery and assault were Herbert Sanders, 34, and Tyrone Land, 21. The victim told police that Sanders and Land had been drinking at his home and “grew more and more disrespectful as the night went along.” When he told them to leave, they attacked. He said the men took $200 before leaving. Police located the pair a short time later and made the arrests.
