WINONA, Minn. – The Winona hospital is down to zero Co-Vid patients for the first time in more three months. Robin Hoeg, chief operating officer, said the hospital has been at a zero Co-Vid census for four days – after 128 consecutive days of at least one patienet. Hoeg cautioned that danger from the virus remains. “What’s important for people to remember is that it’s still extremely important to do what they can to prevent the spread of the virus,” she said. “Mask up, wash your hands and avoid gatherings. And, when it is your turn, get vaccinated. She said that November was the highest point of Co-Vid admission for the hospital and also statewide. The Winona Health census itself peaked at 14 on December 2.
