How we measure time on the Upper Mississippi
WINONA, Minn –The push-tow R. Clayton McWhorter chugged through locks with 12 barges, the first tow of the shipping season. The McWhorter’s course the upriver:
> Trempealeau (Lock and Dam 6): 4:45 p.m., Thursday.
> Fountain City (Lock and Dam 5A): 9:20 p.m.
> Minnesota City (Lock and Dam 5): 1:05 a.m., Friday.
> Alma (Lock and Dam 4): 5:59 a.m.
> Welch (Lock and Dam 3): 3:45 p.m.
