WINONA, Minn. — A pickup caught fire at Gilmore Avenue and Cummings Streest in the Cotter neighborhood. Firefighters used a dry chemical to extinguish the flames. What happened? Leaking fluid had made its way to the heated exterior of the engine and ignited, firefighters concluded. The truck’s occupants had seen smoke, then fire. The driver pulled to the shoulder. No one was injured.
