MINNEAPOLIS — Police deliberately slashed tires on cars parked near protests over the death of George Floyd. Bruce Gordon, a State Patrol spokesman, said the slashings were “strategic” to stop cars from being driven dangerously and at high speeds around protesters and police. Gordon said the Multi-Agency Command Center authorized the action. Among those whose tires were slashed was reporter Chris Serres of the Star Tribune and television producer Andrew Kimmel.
