WINONA, Minn. — Eric Bartleson, 76, a former Winona school superintendent, who retired in 2004, died at home. After retirement he was an adjunct professor at Winona State University. He also was superintendent at Lake Crystal, Mankato, and Plainview-Elgin-Millville schools. He held a doctorate from the University of Minnesota. Earlier, at Waldorf College in Iowa, he earned an associate degree and was a member of the undefeated football team.
