UTICA, Minn. – A Utica man was arrested after a woman was beaten and left with an injured and swollen ankle. Police located Mark Halley, 26, in St. Charles, ix miles away, and made the arrest. He was booked for domestic assault. Deputies had been called to a house on County Road 33 in Utica and were told that the woman and Smith had been arguing for the last day. After the assault, the woman said, Halley drove off in black sedan, which St. Charles police located. He had been drinking, the woman said.
