PRESTON, Minn. – A Lanesboro teenager died, apparently instantly, when his car overturned southeast of Preston about 10 p.m. Fillmore County Sheriff John DeGeorge declined to release the victim’s name but said he was 19 and from Lanesboro. The accident was on County Road 12 about a mile east of Highway 52 two miles from Preston. First-responders found the youth unresponsive He was pronounced dead at the scene.
