ST.PAUL, Minn.— The state Democratic chair, Ken Martin, called recently announced Republican gubernatorial candidate Kendall Qualls a right-wing extremist and Trump-ite. Martin noted that Qualls endorsed and voted for ex-Prrsident Donald Trump “whose policies put millions of Americans’ health care and livelihoods in jeopardy,” Now, said Martin, Qualls “is traveling the state pushing extreme Republican talking points in order to divide us.” The GOP field for governor was messy already, Martin said, and now is only messier.
