ST. CLOUD, Minn. – As a wrestling coach, Scot Davis keeps retiring, but the sport is a magnet. He keeps being drawn back. Now as a co-coach of the St. Cloud Crush, a high school co-op of Tech, Apollo, Cathedral and Granite City Baptist, he attained his 1,200th career coaching victory. The milestone was 57-18 over Maple Grove. Davis in his 43rd year of coaching. Twenty-five of those years were at Owatonna, where he notched a 886-124-1 record and two state team championships. Since retiring he’s coached at Sioux City, Iowa; Kalispell, Montana; at Eden Prairie, Minnesota; at Sloan, Iowa; at Sugar City, Iowa; and at Indian Land, Soith Carolina. And now at St. Cloud.

Davis. Talk about an Energizer bunny.
