WINONA, Minn. – A rally to show support for Ukraine raised $2,600 to help Winona’s sister city in Poland to house Ukrainians who have fled their country.  Although Bytow, the sister city, is 500 miles from the Ukraine border, it has received refugee overflows from areas nearer the border. About the Winona donations, one of the demonstration’s organizers, Dwayne Voegeli, said the $2,600 far exceeded his hope of $2,000.
