NEW ULM, Minn. – Congressional candidate Brad Finstad has flooded MN-1 mailboxes with three waves of oversize full-color postcards that emphasize his Trump connections. Finstad was the state director for federal U.S. Rural Develompent during the Trump presidency. While it was not a high level post, the postcards help establish Finstad’s bona fides as a Trump devotee in Tuesdays primary election. A crowded 20-candidate field is vying to succeed the late Jim Hagedorn, another Republican, as southern Minnesota’s representative in Congress.
