LAKE CRYSTAL, Minn. – Two-term State Representative Jeremy Munson who sought to go to the U.S Congress conceded the race to fellow right-wing conservative Brad Finstad. Of 25,940 votes cast in the 10-candidate GOP race in the MN-1 special primary election, Finstad won by only 489. In conceding, Munson pledged to support Finstad in the special election August 9 to decide whether Finstad or Democrat Jeff Ettinger of Austin goes to Congress from southern Minnesota.
