BLAINE, Minn. — The remains of a woman who disappeared from her Nelson, Wisconsin, home in 2016 were found 90 miles away in an area north of Minneapolis near Blaine, the Wisconsin Department of Justice reported. The body was that of Beth Johnson, officials said. Her live-in manfriend, Randall Q. Merrick, was arrested last week and charged murder in what had seemed a cold case.
