DAKOTA, Minn. – A Dakota man told deputies in a traffic stop that he had had one cola and whisky. A field test showed the blood-alcohol level of Brian Taylor Prigge, 30, at 0.11% — almost 1-1/2 times the legal max. Prigge was arrested and charged with drunken driving. A records check on the spot showed previous drunken-driving convictions in 2016 and 2018, deputies said. Also, deputies said, Prigge’s driver license had been revoked. The stop was about 1 a.m. on Highway 61 near Twin Bluffs. Initially the stop was for speeding and a broken taillight.
