DODGE CENTER, Minn. – At mid-afternoon workers were putting up banners and decorating bleachers with patriotic bunting for a quickly arranged Trump rally at the McNeilus steel foundry. Then as rumor spread that the rally was no longer being held at the Dodge Center plant, the bleachers, bunting and flag poles all started coming down. No one locally seemed to know why or how plans for the McNeilus rally fell through.
