WABASHA, Minn. – A man accused of attacking another man  with a nail-studded baseball bat at Zumbro River campground pleaded guilty after a plea deal. Elliott Glamm, 33, of Elgin, admitted to two counts of third-degree assault. In exchange, the prosecution dropped two counts of first-degree attempted murder. Glamm is among four persons arrested for the attack. Two men were hurt seriously. The injuries:

> One man suffered a broken jaw and cheekbone, a fractured eye socket, skull fractures, and bruises.

> Another man had puncture marks on his head, torso and butt the nails pounded into the baseball bat.

The attack occurred in the early hours of Labor Day at a campground at the village of Hammond in far western Wabasha County. As best as police can figure out, the attack was precipitated by an argument over the wife of one of the person’s involved.
