BLACK RIVER FALLS, Wis. – A 38-year-old man drowned in a pond at the Best Western hotel off I-94 east of town. Police did not release the victim’s name immediately but said he was 38 and from Wasilla, Alaska. . The body was recovered about an hour after the man was reported going under. This was about 3:10 a.m.
