ARCADIA, Wis. – By a 2:1 margin voters rejected a $225,000 referendum for day-to-day operations of Arcadia schools. The School Board had put the issue to the people as a three-year plan to stabilize finances. Funds were also needed to replace aging buses, the Board said. The school district spans parts of Trempealeau and Buffalo counties.
