accused of stabbing a family member and setting fire to their house from the inside. Tonia J. Schwanke, 45, was arrested at the Buffalo City address even as the fires were still smoldering. Buffalo County Judge Mark Franklin specified that conditions for release, besides cash bail, were “absolute sobriety,” no contact with the victim, and drug and alcohol counseling. Schwanke’s blood tested as 0.16% alcohol when she was arrested —more than twice the legal impairment level. The criminal complaint listed felonies:
> Arson.
> Recklessly endangering safety.
> Domestic abuse and battery.
Conviction could mean 40 years in prison and a $100,000 fine.
