MADISON, Wis. – The state Public Service Commission voted unanimously to allow utility companies to disconnect service April 15 to people behnd on their bills. The decision ends the state moratorium for missing payments during the Co-Vid pandemic. Rebecca Cameron Valcq, commission chair, encouraged customers who are behind on their utility bills to arrange a payment plan with their provider. Bill payment assistance usually is available, Valcq said.
