CALEDONIA, Minn. – The Caledonia city administrator, Jake Arthur Dickson, was fined $500 for drunken driving. Judge Carmaine Sturino could have handed down a one-year jail sentence but went lighter. Dickson, however, will have two years of supervised probation and must undergo alcohol monitoring and a chemical dependency evaluation. Dickson, age 29, was appointed to run Caledonia city business in June. Two months later he was arrested in LaCrescent in a black truck weaving across the center line and the fog line on Highway 16.

Dickson. Earlier assistant city administrator in Lake Elmo, population 9,100, a St. Paul suburb. He holds a political science degree from the University ofArkansas.
