CASHTON, Wis. – A Cashton school classroom aide decided to accept punishment without a formal guilty plea for writing a hit-list naming teachers. The plea deal has Michelle Joyce Herricks agreeing to two years of therapy and community service plus court fees. Herricks, age 40, will not go to jail. Last school year Herricks planted a list of teacher names with the phrases “shoot em, stab em, blow em up.” The message, dropped in a school hallway, was made to appear written by two students.
